Healthy Habitat = Happy Bunny

This spring I emptied out the old, dirt-floor shed and moved my bunnies in.

It seemed a little dark and gloomy inside, until I took off the old siding along the north side (where they could see out into the world without direct sunlight coming in on them), and we covered the open areas with chicken wire to keep out critters.

We thought it would be nice for them to hear the morning birds calling and to have a view of sunrises and sunsets, the trees, the sky and the good treats growing in the garden.

The bunnies have a cooperative relationship with our garden. They give something good to the garden and the garden gives back something good for them. Click "movie" to see a quiet morning dawning from the bunny barn.

A healthy happy bunny needs room
to play, jump, dig and nibble. Give bunnies a space to do "bunny things."
